Economic Development Tour
2°C Mississippi was delighted to be a “stop” on Jackson Redevelopment Authority’s Economic Development Week bus tour. Many thanks to Christopher G. Pike, EDFP, CPM and Yolanda R. Owens, CFRM for their continued support of our green infrastructure project addressing urban heat island on historic Farish Street. It was refreshing to see the interest the participants showed in our project.
Project Signing Press Conference
On May 28, 2024, 2°C Mississippi achieved another major milestone in its ongoing efforts to develop a green infrastructure solution to the urban heat island effect on historic Farish Street. The agreement was signed by Dominika Parry, 2°C Mississippi’s Founder, President and CEO, and Christopher Pike, Executive Director of the Jackson Redevelopment Authority. 2°C Mississippi received $1.5 million from the U.S. Forest Service.
